About our Cottages:

Pontchartrain Wind's two quaint guest cottages offer all the comforts of home.  Each of the one bedroom cottages is equipped with a full kitchen, wireless Internet, HD television, original art work, and a restored claw foot tub with shower.  Our guests enjoy birdwatching from the  front porches.  The large deck between the two cottages is perfect for dinner or a small intimate gathering.   

Rates and Reservations: 

• Cottages are $125.00 per night plus tax
• Special rates for five or more consecutive nights
• Reservations require a guarantee by credit card
• We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and cash
• We do not offer food services but we are within walking distance of several of Mandeville's finest restaurants

Sailing Package: $350, plus tax
Guests of Pontchartrain Winds may reserve a 4-hour sail with up to four passengers on Serafina, on our 38 foot islander sailing vessel.  The sail on beautiful lake Pontchartrain includes a captain, deck hand, water, and ice.  Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite beverages and a light snack and to tip the crew.  Cancellations due to weather are at the discretion of the captain and owner.  A sailing package Cancellation will result in a $100 charge unless 7 days notice is given. Full refund for cancellations due to weather.     

Policies:

• Smoking is permitted on the porches
• Cancellation requires 7 days notice for weekend and 24-hour notice for weekday reservations
• Check-in is 2 pm; check-out is 11 am
• One cottage is pet friendly, small dogs only. There is a nonrefundable $10 per day pet charge
